As El Paso continues to grow, our roads need to grow with us! That means more construction and road closures. Find out what areas of El Paso will be impacted this week.

The City of El Paso is continuing to grow. To maintain this growth, construction is a necessary evil for people in the city. This week on the west side, there will be full closures of Interstate 10 causing severe congestion in the area. If you want to keep from getting stuck in traffic for awhile, make sure to avoid these areas this week during these times.

I-10 At GERONIMO 

Sunday, Sept. 24-Thursday, Sept. 28 (9 p.m.-5 a.m.)

  • FULL CLOSURE I-10 West ar Geronimo Overpass
  • I-10 West Airway Entrance Ramp  to I-10 CLOSED
  • DETOUR: Exit Geronimo and Re-enter at the next entrance

I-10 At Sunland Park Drive

Monday, Sept. 25-Thursday, Sept. 28 (9 p.m.-6 a.m.)

  • I-10 West Sunland Park Entrance Ramp to I-10 CLOSED
  • Sunland Park Flyover Entrance to I-10 East CLOSED
  • DETOUR: I-10 West take Doniphan to North Mesa; I-10 East take Sunland/Paisano entrance

I-10 At Sunland Park Drive

Tuesday, September 26th (9 p.m.-6 a.m.)

  • I-10 East CLOSED Sunland Park Exit to Entrance Ramp
  • Sunland Park Drive Overpass at I-10 CLOSED BOTH DIRECTIONS
  • DETOUR: I-10 East Exit Sunland then immediately re-enter at entrance

Different streets in the areas listed will have single lane closures so expect delays in this part of El Paso all week.
