Free Flu Shots Coming Soon

Whether to get one or not is a pretty polarizing subject but, if you do want one, here's where to get it FREE!

According to the El Paso Herald Post,

The program "Vaccinations For Health" that teams up the El Paso Fire Department with the El Paso Health Department to provide free influenza, blood pressure and glucose screenings to patients 18 and older and pneumonia vaccines to those 65 and older will start again in September.

The free flu shots will be available

• Saturday Sept. 9
• Preparedness Expo, El Paso Convention and Performing Art Center,
• 1 Civic Center Plaza, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Tuesday Sept. 12
• Aging to Perfection Expo, El Paso Convention and Performing Art Center,
• 1 Civic Center Plaza, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

EP Herald Post added that the shots are free to residents of El Paso and Hudspeth County who are 18 and over and who have no medical insurance or access to Medicaid. For more info, call 3-1-1 or visit www.ephealth.com.
