Freddy Krueger Going Back to the ’80’s

ABC's hit show "The Goldbergs" is a great show to reminisce about the '80's. If you've never seen it, it revolves around producer and writer Adam Goldberg and his family living in the '80's. The show does a great job at recreating some of the era's hit films and shows. So far, they've recreated "The Goonies," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," "Risky Business," and "The Breakfast Club." They also have some great cameos, most recently they got Rick Moranis to reprise his role as the voice of Dark Helmet from "Spaceballs."

No other cameo though has me as excited as this one. It should come as no surprise that I love horror and Halloween. The Halloween episodes of "The Goldbergs" are always ones I look forward too, and this year is no exception. On Friday, this video was released and it got my spooky little heart excited!

It's been fifteen years since we last saw Freddy haunt our dreams. Just last year he killed any dream all of us had of him bringing the character back to life saying he was too old to do another Freddy movie. But, as fans of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" we know Freddy ALWAYS comes back. No word on when the episode will air yet, but season six of "The Goldbergs" premieres this Wednesday (Sept. 26) on ABC.
