With the NFL starting this weekend and the 2nd week of college football, here are the games that I consider worth watching this weekend.

College Football

24 Florida vs Texas A&M 1:30pm ESPN

The Aggies make their debut in the SEC against a traditional SEC powerhouse in Florida.  A&M looks to prove that they can hang with the big boys and they get to do it in College Station.  Believe me when I say that the Aggies will need the help of the "12th man."

Purdue vs Norte Dame 1:30pm NBC

Notre Dame looked very good last week against Navy in Ireland, but then again it was Navy. Purdue comes into this game with Caleb TerBush earning the nod as the Boilers' starter for Saturday's game and with a better defense then Navy. For Norte Dame,  Tommy Rees is back and is battling Andrew Hendrix for the No. 2 QB job.

UTEP vs Ole Miss 5pm FSN

The Miners were very impressive last week against Oklahoma.  The defense played the best game I have ever seen.  If the defense can repeat what they did last week and the passing game decides to show up and they can actually make a field goal, Utep can win this game.  But, Ole Miss does play in the best conference in college football so the Miners have a tough task ahead of them.

NFL

Indianpolis Colts vs Chicago Bears 11am FOX

Andrew Luck makes his regular season debut against a Bears defense that might or might not feature their leader Brian Urlacher. The combination of Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall should give the Bears the victory

Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets 11am CBS

All eyes will be on New York to see how Mark Sanchez does against the revamped defense of the Bills.  The Jets offensive line looked horrible in the preseason and they need to give Sanchez time or else it'll be TEBOW TIME!  The Bills hope to start their season just like they did last year with a couple of wins and I think it's gonna happen.

San Francisco 49ers vs Green Bay Packers 2:20pm FOX

It's the best offense vs the best defense in the NFL.  Usually the defense wins.  Arron Rodgers will have something to say about that. Alex Smith has a couple of new weapons in Randy Moss and Mario Manningham. No doubt about it, this is the game of the week

Pittsburg Steelers vs Denver Broncos 6:20pm NBC

Peyton Manning makes his debut as a Bronco.  This will be his first game since Jan. 8, 2011. Everybody will be watching to see if he will play like the Payton of old. Big Ben starts of the season with a new offensive coordinator and hopes Rashard Mendenhall can be affective. Good thing Mike Wallace signed his tender just in time for this game

Enjoy the games!
