On Feb. 12, the world’s largest and most prestigious music awards show will be broadcast into millions of households. The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will feature the most popular artists in modern music, including a special live performance by Foo Fighters.

Foo Fighters are up for multiple Grammys this year, grabbing nominations for Album of the Year, Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song for ‘Walk,’ Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance for ‘White Limo’ and more.

Awarded by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Foo Fighters have won six Grammys throughout their career, most recently capturing Best Rock Album and Best Hard Rock Performance wins in 2008. The Foos won their first Grammy Award in 2001 — earning a Best Rock Album statue for ‘There Is Nothing Left to Lose.’

Among the other nominations for this year’s Grammy for Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance are Dream Theater for ‘On the Backs of Angels,’ Mastodon for ‘Curl of the Burl,’ Megadeth for ‘Public Enemy No. 1′ and a surprising contender in Sum 41 for their track ‘Blood in My Eyes.’

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards, also known as ‘Music’s Biggest Night,’ will air live on CBS on Feb. 12 at 8PM ET.
