The power of Foo Fighters continues to soar as the band prepares to represent the rock genre at this year’s Grammy Awards in multiple ways. Not only are Dave Grohl and company up for several awards and  performing at the ceremony, they’ll be taking part in the upcoming MusiCares Person of the Year tribute concert in honor of Beatles legend Paul McCartney.

Foo Fighters will join several other Grammy nominees from Coldplay to Alison Krauss and former winners like Alicia Keys and Norah Jones to pay homage to Sir Paul McCartney and his philanthropic ways throughout the years. The show, set for Feb. 10 in Los Angeles, will also feature a performance from McCartney himself.

All the proceeds from the show will benefit MusicCares programs and services, a great cause that helps the music community with everything from medical expenses to emergency financial assistance.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters are also taking part in a new campaign called ‘We Are Music’ for the Grammys. ‘We Are Music’ aims to use various forms of technology to bring music to life and show “how it moves us,” something the Foos know a little about. Check out their spot below for ‘We Are Music.’

According to the press release, “The spots focus on the artists and follow an element or particle that builds throughout, symbolizing the raw emotion of music. Each spot reveals the artist after the particle builds and then transitions to the tune-in information for the show.”

The Grammys are set for Sunday Feb. 12 at 8 PM ET on CBS — tune in see if the Foos end up big winners.
