Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi and Blink-182 have been revealed as the headliners for the The Bamboozle 2012, set for May 18-20. The festival, now in its 10th year, will also return to North Beach Asbury Park in New Jersey for the first time since 2005.

While the rest of the eclectic lineup has yet to be announced, The Bamboozle 2012 promises over 100 acts, over the course of three days, spread out over nine stages in what’s being called a “beach and boardwalk’ format.

The nine stages will be spread throughout the beach, boardwalk and the Convention Hall in Asbury Park. Founder John D’Esposito commented on bringing the festival back to Asbury Park, saying, “For the 10th anniversary, it was important to create an event that would leave a lasting impression. In order to do that we had to go back to where the seed had been planted, Asbury Park.”

Three-day package deals and single-day tickets go on sale this Saturday, Dec. 17. For all the detailed ticketing information, visit the official Bamboozle website.

With Foo Fighters making their Bamboozle debut, a band steeped in New Jersey history like Bon Jovi and Blink-182 returning to the event, the festival is shaping up to be an eclectic gathering. The rest of the lineup will be announced in the new year.
