Ever wonder why doing a shot of this stuff warms you up?  It uh ... could be the antifreeze!

Fireball whisky bottles are being recalled throughout Europe because they contain antifreeze.  So do the bottles made for Canada and the United States, we ... apparently ... just don't care.

Fireball whisky, which I (used to) like, contains propylene glycol, a man made liquid that absorbs water and is used in ALL bottles of Fireball. (Want some?)

They use smaller amounts in bottles meant for European sales though and some meant for North America ended up in the wrong countries.  Hence the recall.

In an article in the Daily Beast, Fireball said:

"Fireball insists that there are 'no health risks' and that 'all Fireball formulas are absolutely safe to drink.'"

According to the Centers For Disease Control, propylene glycol is:

generally regarded as safe for use in food.

Generally??
