Feline Fridays At The Animal Shelter

Each year, approximately 23,000 animals are euthanized at the city's shelter, about half of them are cats.  The City of El Paso wants to reduce the cat euthanasia rate so they will extend their recent promotion that offers half price cat adoptions at the Animal Shelter. 

Effective immediately, every Friday the public can adopt an adult cat or kitten for $50 ($10 additional for pets at ages requiring rabies vaccinations).  The fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip.

Adoption hours at the shelter at 5001 Fred Wilson are from 10:30 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday.
