An El Paso filmmaker has returned home to film his movie and hopes to put El Paso on the map as far as bringing other filmmakers here.

Native El Pasoan James Arrabito is back in town filming his movie "I See A Darkness". According to seeandspark.com, the film is about:

... a photographer going through a life altering change that just happens to be in a border city. The cast and crew are from Mexico and the US, consisting of underrepresented artists from race, gender, and class, working together to create a film focused on an artists struggle. - seeandspark.com

Arrabito hopes the film will draw other filmmakers to El Paso.

"Just getting the word out that we're a great place to make films, we're ready to make films, the crews are here, the artists are here, the actors are here, we can do this." - KTSM.com
