When did the band get together, and how?

Formed in early 2010, Headcase, Madbrain, & Hatecase were looking for an outlet that unlike their previous bands would give the El Paso music scene something they've never had... A GOOD FRIGHT! In the shadows of the night, under pale moon light, a lone preacher walks the hallowed earth of the church cemetery toward five graves. As the light of the moon begins to shine upon them, our reverend begins to read from his beloved bible. He hears the light sounds or cracking, feeling it is just small creatures on twigs, he continues. Further and further he reads and the sounds grow louder and louder. The snapping twigs now sound like breaking wood. As he reaches the final line, he utters “AMEN’ as hands reach from the earth before his eyes. The damned have returned from the depths of hell they were sent!

A monster, a minion, a surgeon, a psycho and a ghoul have returned to bring a mass of horror to the huddled masses of this once beautiful city, now encompassed by a ring of fire. The only connection to this world is the life of the eyes of all that bestow a vision upon their show. They have brought to life the true sound and vision of horror to Hell Paso.

Zero Hatecase (The Monster), Chuck Hemorrhage (The Minion), Dr. Markubus Madbrain (The Surgeon), Christopher Headcase (The Psycho), and Chreep Magu (The Ghoul) create a mixture of punk, metal, rockabilly and psychobilly with a theatrical touch of horror that alone makes them worth gazing eyes upon. From eternal love to the taste of blood and flesh, Epitaph Romance combines both melodic harmony and the stench of death vocally and musically.

How would you describe your music to someone?

Their genre of music can only be classified as HORROR as they fuse punk, metal and classic rockabilly to form a devilish sound to match their morbid lyrics.

Who are some of the bands that influence your music?

With numerous influences like The Crimson Ghosts, Avengenged Sevenfold, The Misfits, Slayer, and many, many more, it would be impossible to credit one act or style but the greatest influence of all is the bands love of gore and horror movies as well as their lust for love beyond the grave…
