El Paso's Going Medieval!

Renaissance Faire's are cool ways to wander around and get a feel for life when guys rode around in armor rescuing damsels in distress and taking out dragons.

Well, there were damsels anyway and some guys .. the really cool ones .. did wear armor. Notsomuch on the dragons... Renaissance Faire's bring a taste of those days back to life and also offer cool activities, vendors and more. (Check out the video for an example...)

Now, El Paso is getting one of our own. According to a message I got from the organizers:

The Borderlands Renaissance Faire will be held April 21st and 22nd at the Marty Robbins Park from 10am-6pm. We plan on focusing on artisan vendors; leather, wood and metal works, clothing and accessories. Entertainment will consist of music, dancing, reenactment groups. We encourage everyone to come in costume.
