El Pasoan, Sam Donaldson Turns 80

Sam Donaldson was born here in El Paso, Texas. He previously worked as a disc jockey then he became an announcer and after that he started working in television. Sam Donaldson was also stationed here at Fort Bliss.

Sam Donaldson would later become ABC Chief White House Correspondent. Sam was not shy to ask tough questions. His style of reporting was aggressive.
