Labor of Love End of Summer Bash – Water rides and concerts highlight the event at the Socorro Entertainment Center Waterpark, 11200 Santos Sanchez St. Tonight is EDM Night featuring Skrillex tribute band “Skrillish” followed by “Not Exactly,” a tribute to Deadmau5 at 8 p.m. Waterpark opens at 11 a.m. Park entrance and concert $8 or canned good donations. La Parada 5th Anniversary Celebration – The indoor/outdoor monthly social party features live music, live art, and the Punk Rock Flea Market. 5 p.m. – 2 a.m. 501 Bar and Bistro in the San Carlos Building, 501 Texas. Admission $5 - $10. More Details

Jazz at Sunset – The annual outdoor jazz show will feature live performances by Billy Townes and Michael Hamilton Group, Ruben Gutierrez and Case Closed, Jorge Gonzalez Trio, and more. 6 to 10 p.m. at EPCC Valle Verde Campus’ Americana Language Village, 919 Hunter. Friday at the Fire – Live music by local bands set against the ambiance of the Freedom Crossing at Ft. Bliss outdoor fireplace. 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Joe Barron Band (country) performs.

Alfresco! Fridays – Fresh-air performances from local bands playing various genres of music. 6 p.m. on the Convention Center Plaza. FREE. B Series (rock-steady) performs. More Details

San Eli First Friday Art Walk & Ghost Tour – All of the art galleries stay open for this once a month evening event, which includes live music at the Bandido Cantina, a “Movie on the Wall” at around 8:00 p.m., and Ghost Tour . 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the San Elizario Art District located off Socorro Road at Main Street. SATURDAY:

Farmers Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing – The “producers only” market features area farmers, backyard gardeners and artisans selling organic and pesticide-free vegetables, locally-made goat cheeses, natural free range chickens and eggs, native plants for home and yard, fresh-baked breads and salsas. 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Downtown Artist and Farmers Market – The market offers the chance to shop for original arts and crafts and regionally grown produce in an outdoor setting while enjoying entertainment featuring local artists, food vendors and free activities for the entire family. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Union Plaza District (near The Garden Restaurant) along Anthony Street. St. Anthony’s Bazaar – The yearly fundraiser for the Franciscan seminary is three days of carnival games, live entertainment and delicious bazaar food, including the legendary gorditas. 12 noon – 11 p.m. at the St. Anthony’s Seminary, 4501 Hastings at Crescent. Admission is FREE.

Harvest Wine Festival – Celebrate the history of New Mexico Wines and sample vino from wineries from around the state. Food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, and live music round out the entertainment. Admission is $20, includes souvenir wine glass; under 21 free if accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
