Trick-or-Treat Off the Street at Bassett Place – The mall hosts its annual safe trick or treat event. Participating merchants will give out candies while supplies last. Giveaways and costume contests also planned. FREE. 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. More Details

Halloween Mine Tour – Tour the West Cottonwood Mines, pick up some tasty treats, and learn about the history of the mines. $5 (Must have reservation to participate). 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. More Details

La Union Corn Maze – The 14 acre cornfield maze features a farm animal corral, cow train, pedal cars and other family activities, plus tractor-pulled wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, concessions, and a mini-maze for the kids. Open 5 to 10 p.m. Highway 28 in La Union, N.M., next to Zin Valle Winery. Admission prices vary, discounts and group rates available. More Details

‘Maze of Madness’ Haunted House – There’s one way win, and three creepy ways out! Which spine-tingling way will you choose? Not recommended for the easily frightened. 6 to 11 p.m. at 1323 N. Lee Treviño. Admission is $12. More Details

UTEP Dinner Theatre Presents ‘Footloose’ – Based on the classic 1980s movie that starred Kevin Bacon, the musical showcases its Oscar and Tony-nominated Top-40 score, including the hit songs ‘Let’s Hear it For The Boy,” “Almost Paradise” and “Footloose.” Show time is 7 p.m., 2nd Floor UTEP’s Union Building West. Haunted ‘Terror Trail’ and ‘Zombie Adventure’ – WinkeyDoodles Paintball Adventures transforms into a two-acre haunted house at night. This year you’ll also be able to hunt down and shoot Zombies. 7:30 p.m.-11:45 p.m. at WinkeyDoodles Paintball Adventures, 401 Anthony, in Canutillo. El Paso Playhouse Presents ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ – El Paso’s longest running Community Theater presents the drama based upon a play by Christopher Hampton. The story revolves around a French marquis and viscount who use sex as a weapon of humiliation and degradation, all the while enjoying their cruel games. Farmer’s Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing – The “producers only” market features area farmers, backyard gardeners and artisans selling organic and pesticide-free vegetables, locally-made goat cheeses, natural free range chickens and eggs, native plants for home and yard, fresh-baked breads and salsas. 7:30 a.m. to noon. Downtown Artist and Farmers Market – The market offers the chance to shop for original arts and crafts and regionally grown produce in an outdoor setting while enjoying entertainment featuring local artists, food vendors and free activities for the entire family. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Union Plaza District (near The Garden Restaurant) along Anthony Street. Amigo Airsho - The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Army Golden Knights return. Also performing is the Indy Boys jet powered school bus, and stunt pilot Kyle Franklin. Children’s play area, static aircraft displays, and food vendors featured as well. Gates open at 10 a.m., with flying acts performing 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Doña Ana County Airport in Santa Teresa. Renaissance Artsfaire – More than 150 artists and artisans selling and displaying handcrafted jewelry, pottery, ceramics, leather goods, and more are highlighted at the 43rd annual event. Continuous entertainment plus games, food and wines also part of the festivities. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at “Ye Olde” Young Park, intersection of Walnut and Lohman in Las Cruces.
