Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitan - The legendary mariachi group which bills itself as “El mejor mariachi del mundo” returns to El Paso. 8 p.m. at the Plaza Theatre. Ticket prices vary. More Details

‘Sinatra Forever’ - A tribute to the life and music of Frank Sinatra starring Rich Michel, one of Las Vegas’ premier singers “who literally channels ‘Old Blue Eyes’ through his spot-on vocals of the legendary crooner.” 8 p.m. at UTEP’s Magoffin Auditorium. Tickets are $38. More Details

Friday at the Fire – Enjoy an evening of live music set against the ambiance of the Freedom Crossing outdoor fireplace. Tonight, Sha'Vonne 6- 11 p.m. Free.

Ice Skating – Whoosh around on ice skates in the area’s largest public ice skating rink. 7 p.m to 10 p.m. in the Sierra Providence Event Center, 4100 E Paisano, behind the El Paso County Coliseum. Cost: $8, $6 Military. Admission includes skate rental. More Details
