El Paso Humane Society Joins The Cat Yoga Craze Saturday!

Cat yoga with shelter cats has become a trend all over the United States, and now we're getting right here in El Paso at the Humane Society!

Cat yoga has become a trend all over the United States, with many shelters partnering with yoga studios and instructors to help get the animals into forever homes. These classes allows people to interact with the felines and get to know their personalities better. The cats and humans are able to better see how they would interact in a home environment since they aren't in cages and are able to meet several people at once.

Cat yoga at the Humane Society of El Paso is happening this Saturday, February 25th at 11 a.m. Admission is free and you don't have to RSVP to this event. This event will feature adoptable cats from the Humane Society of El Paso as well as certified yoga instructor Heather Bassett. Donations will be accepted at this event so you can not only work out, you can help out a great cause at the same time!
