About 13 years ago, blood transfusions helped save Mark Barnett's life. This showed him, first hand, the importance of strong blood supplies in the community.

He vowed to pay those donations back once he was healthy and he's been working with United Blood Services ever since to help keep El Paso's supplies topped off.

Since 2005, over 21,000 blood donations have been collected thanks to his hard work and generosity.  He's offered his place of business, Barnett Harley - Davidson, as a donation site, helped with expenses associated with these blood drives and offered prizes to donors of merchandise, services and even Harley Davidson motorcycles!

For this, American Blood Centers (ABC) have named Mark’s latest record-breaking drive the “Outstanding Blood Drive of the Year” for 2017.  An ABC press release said:

“We cannot put a value to what this blood drive has done to bring visibility and help boost the blood supply during some of the most critical times.”

Congrat's Mark, and well done my friend. Many thanks to you and your family for all that you do!
