El Paso Firefighters are kicking off their their Fill The Boot campaign to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association tomorrow!

The El Paso Fire Department is working with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to help efforts to find treatments and cures for this debilitating disease. Muscular Dystrophy is a "group of diseases that cause progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass." People who suffer from this have severely limited strength and mobility.

The kick off for the Fill The Boot campaign is tomorrow, at Fire Station 11, 314 Leon Street in Downtown El Paso. Information will be given out as well as location where you can find firefighters to "fill the boot." EL Paso Electric will also be dropping the first $5,000 dollars into the boot. Local MDA families will also be in attendance to answer any questions

Money that is collected will be used to fund new research into treatments and cures, as well as life-enhancing programs. Money is also used to send local kids to a MDA summer camp at no cost to their families.
