Applicants for this job must have:
- 24 post-secondary semester credit hours in any field of study
- minimum 2.0 GPA OR at least 2 years of full-time, active military service with honorable discharge
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have current Texas State Commission on Fire Protection Basic Structural Firefighter Certification
- Also must have Texas Department of State Health Services Basic Emergency Medical Technician Certification
