El Paso Family Wins New Home After Losing Mother to Cancer

A widower and his four children just got their biggest Christmas gift ever.

27-year-old Ursula Elias passed away due to cervical cancer last year, leaving behind a husband and 4 children. One of her last wishes was that her family would have a nice home and, thanks to Icon Custom Builders, that wish came true. Icon owner Carlos Garcia told the El Paso Times he:

wanted to award a home to a deserving family as a way to give back to the community for a successful business.

The Elias family was nominated by their aunt and the father, Osvaldo Elias, said:

"I wasn't expecting this. It's been difficult losing my wife but all these nice people have been a blessing to me and my kids. It's beautiful and I want to thank everybody that helped build it and Icon."

They'll never get back the young wife and mother but, the Elias family has been blessed with a true, Christmas miracle!
