El Paso Congressman Beto O'Rourke held his first ever 'Twitter Town Hall.' El Pasoans were encouraged to submit their question via the widely popular social networking site Twitter.

Serious questions were asked during the 'Twitter Town Hall.' Regarding the refugee crisis, the congressman said,'I've joined a letter to the President asking that we accept at least 65,000 refugees (he's offered to take 10k).' Women's issues were also on the minds of some constituents. He is for Planned Parenthood and equal pay for women.

I've met Congressman O'Rourke a couple of times and he is laid back. It's no surprise Twitter users asked hard hitting questions like the following.

Will marijuana ever be legal in Texas?

Best menudo in El Paso?

Who's guacamole is better... mine or @CourtKFOX_CBS?

Congressman O'Rourke answered questions about traffic in the Sun City, the V.A. and much more. Check out the rest of the 'Twitter Townhall.' on twitter and be sure to follow the Buzz Adams Morning Show as well.
