The Black Keys have been in the news a lot with their comments about Nickelback selling out, then selling their music into commercials, not having an El Camino on their album "El Camino"...

I'm not sure why they used that crappy van with the wood paneling on it instead of an El Camino. Maybe they didn't think they would be able to find an actual El Camino to photograph for the cover?

Never fear, O easily defeated bands and photographers! El Paso is the El Camino capital of the world, and a quick search through Craigslist shows how easily we could have helped them with their problem!

Check out these 5 beauties!

Selling this car for my son who is in the Navy. He bought this as a project car , but his interests have changed and has asked us to sell his car.

Body is in good condition and has a fairly new paint job and new tires. Interior is in fair condition and needs some work. Engine has been rebuilt and needs some carburetor work and possibly some additional engine work. I don't know much more about it, so if you are interested text me to schedule a time you can stop by and see it.

Car has a clear title and we are ready to make a deal. Cash only and no payments please. Thanks for looking.

A rare 1985 El Camino Super Sport with the Conquista package - as original, clean and complete as you could ever hope to find. This gem was driven little in the last 10 years and in the last five years - none at all! It has the 305-V8 coupled to an automatic transmission. The factory A/C has not been updated to R-134A.

I acquired this El Camino from an estate in Gun Barrel City and had it professionally transported to El Paso. The owner had been seriously ill for over 10 years and prior to that - it was his second car so the miles are extremely low for a 26 year old vehicle. The owner kept most of his receipts in the glove box so much of the vehicles past history is documented.

The original paint however, is only passable with the usual chips, nicks, dings and scrapes accumulated in 26 years --- but no evidence of body damage. It's a 2-tone, tan/brown with a pristine tan interior but hasn't been detailed. I've just replaced the fuel pump, radiator, radiator cap and of course - there is a new battery, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap/rotor. It now purrs like a kitten and roars like a lion! The front brake pads were fine but rear brake shoes were badly worn and were just replaced along with new rear wheel cylinders. The rotors and drums showed little wear and appear to be original and unturned.

The car has a clean/clear Texas title in my name, current registration and inspection. There is little left to do for this to become a show piece. NADA values it at $3478 low retail / $6353 average retail / 8653 high retail. My plans have changed and the vehicle is now available for only $4975 FIRM -- well below average retail. Trade-in considered. Roadster or small pickup preferred but let me know what you have.

Please eMail or telephone with any questions or to set an appointment to see. Please - no texting. I've an old fashioned phone that just takes/makes calls.
