El Paso Bikers Have The Advantage Of Lane Splitting During Traffic

Have you ever been envious of bikers having the advantage to skip ahead of traffic but feel they shouldn't be allowed to? I'm sure you have witnessed this so many times especially with El Paso traffic lately and road closures.

If you don't know what lane splitting is, Motonosity uploaded a video of a biker giving the perfect example. We see first hand (thanks to the rider) how easy they have it on the roads but isn't exactly legal. I admit, sometimes I get bothered that will purposely scoot as close to prevent them from passing and staying in place like the rest of us. If the majority of the city owned bikes, I feel there would be more accidents due to some of their habits. I've noticed this happening more with all the road closures and I-10 freeway closures do to construction.
