The City of El Paso Animal Services Shelter will be extending their operating hours starting in September.

The City of El Paso Animal Services Shelter has decided to extend their hours to better help the community. The shelter is hoping longer hours will help to enhance customer service and continue to save as many animal's lives as possible.

Starting September 1, 2016, the Animal Services Shelter will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

The City of El Paso Animal Services Shelter is hoping that this new schedule will give the public more opportunities to adopt a shelter pet, find a lost pet, and to inquire about the department’s various other services. The change in hours will not only enhance customer service, but it will still provide time for shelter staff to perform deep cleanings at the facility.

The City of El Paso Animal Services Shelter is located at 5001 Fred Wilson Ave. The new operating hours (Monday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) will begin on September 1st.
