East El Paso Man Goes Through Drive-Thru On A Rascal Scooter

A listener, Daniel Reta sent me this video from an east El Paso Burger King. It's a man riding a rascal scooter through the drive-thru like a boss.

The great thing about having a motorized scooter is that it gives you the freedom to travel wherever the hell you want. I know you've seen those Hoveround commercials that are usually played when you watching Jerry Springer or reruns of the Maury Show. Those commercials have gotten criticism from doctors and lawmakers.

I say forget them, look at this man enjoying his time outside. Hopefully he is grabbing BK Whopper with cheese. This east El Paso man has every right to visit the Grand Canyon,  go fishing or ride through the drive-thru like a boss if he wants to.

Let's make sure he doesn't end up like the old lady below who was obviously in a rush to get somewhere because she tried scooter surf up a moving escalator. In case you didn't know: scooter + escalator = flipping over.

According to Fox10, the woman “walked away from the incident” without any injures.
