Downtown El Paso Offers Food, Drinks

Drinking and driving is now totally allowed Downtown! (Not THAT kind of driving though...).

The "golf" kind of driving! The first "Barstool Open" takes place January 27th. 4 - person teams will compete for awards and prizes by playing a 9 - hole "course" laid out at these Downtown area bars:

Teams can play the course in whatever order they want and prizes will be given out for things like best team costume(s) and best team name. Register here (Pre-registration is $20 cheaper!)

Here's the basic info, taken from the El Paso Times:

When: Jan. 27. Registration is from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Circa 1963 inside Hotel Indigo.Golf tournament is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: $60 per team ($80 per team day of the event). Registration includes Mini Golf Tote Bag, Logo Golf Ball, Bottle Opener and chances to win prizes. Must be 21 years old or older to participate.
Details: There will be an awards ceremony from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Circa 1963 (Hotel Indigo, fifth floor)
