Cops Order Criminals on the Ground, Criminals’ Dog Gets Down, Too

During a police raid in the southern town of Florianpolis, Brazilian police ordered suspected gang members to get down on the ground. Surprisingly, a dog walked up and laid in between the suspects.

What makes this photo funny, is the dog, named Piloto, decided to lay on his back with his paws up. Even the ambassador of Sweden in Brazil even tweeted the photo saying it was "tragi-comical."

Police say that the dog was barking at the police, but wouldn't leave his owners. The dog adorably laid besides the suspected criminals as police continued to search the area. Two men were arrested in the operation, but the dog was let go.

This photo is a perfect example of why dog's have earned the title of man's best friend. My cats would have ran away in a heartbeat...
