Born and raised in the Sun City, Ray is the ex-guitarist of the punk band Two Edge which broke up back in 97, after 7 years together. Two Edge was an original music band that had the privillage of opening up for bands like The Offspring, DRI, Agent Orange, and All (The Descendants) just to name a few both locally and on the road. After the band broke up Ray left town for a few years and spend some time in Denver and in Portland OR. Hey guys! Well just al little insight about myself and who I am. I was born in El Paso but was raised in Fabens, TX, where I still live in and call home. I’ve always been told that I don’t look much like a rocker chick and I can’t exactly pinpoint when I started listening to rock but I can assure you the first time was to KLAQ. I was hatched in the ’60’s, in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. I spent 21 years in the land of 10,000 lakes doing as little as possible in the most amount of time.

In 1981 I was released from jail thanks to the military. Wanted to be "All That I Could Be", wanted to see the world, to protect and defend. HAHAHAHAHA...yeah, right!

Mando “The Monster” Medina is the KLAQ Morning Show’s producer and resident bad-ass.  Monster is also the host of "Crunchtime," a weekly sports talk show that can be heard on KROD 600 AM Saturdays from 10 am-1pm.

A rasslin’ fan from childhood, Monster actually had his own rasslin’ talk show back in the day, loved and respected for its hard-hitting interviews, scintillating conversation and wry observations on the rich and meaningful world of sports entertainment – all made more incredible by the fact it was accomplished by using words of no more than two syllables.

Monster’s exploration into the many meanings and uses of the word “Guey” still stands as a seminal radio achievement.

What many people don’t know about Monster is that he is a passionate collector of rare dolls (which he calls “action figures”), a passion he shares with Buzz Adams.

A noted pie connoisseur, Monster is known whipping up his own, should the need arise.

I've been with KLAQ since 2000.  I started out as the receptionist, and moved to the morning show about 9 months later.  Go figure.  I have been tortured by Buzz on a daily basis for the last ten years.  It's a great gig, I get to put all of the useless knowledge I have stored over the years to great use!  Who knew all that TV watching and tabloid reading would pay off!  I'm pretty much a homebody, I love working on my house and garden.  I have lived there about six years and have already painted each room at least twice!  I love to cook,  so Food Network is also a favorite.   I have three dogs, four turtles and a tortoise who all keep me entertained.  That is when I'm not watching TV!
