This beautiful Siberian Husky puppy wants to see what's in the empty box, then can't get his head out!  I've never heard the saying "curiousity killed the dog", so no harm done!

If you are looking for a forever friend, you can help a homeless dog or cat by adopting.  The Humane Society of El Paso (www.hsep.org) and the Animal Services Center are dealing with overcrowding, which puts healthy, adoptable animals at risk.  Without the community's assistance there is no other choice than for Animal Services to humanely euthanize adoptable pets.

In an effort to increase adoptions, the City and the Humane Society will cut their adoption prices in half, from $100 to $50 through June 17th.  This fee includes spay/nueter, rabies vaccination, and registration.  You can adopt at both the City shelter (5001 Fred Wilson) 10:30 am to 6:00 pm M-F, and the Humane Society (4991 Fred Wilson) 11:00 am to 5:30 pm Mon-Sat, and 11:00 am to 4:30 pm on Sunday.
