A well known Las Cruces man was a victim of a cruel prank by some heartless people. The prank featured a group of people calling over Tony Robles to their car. As he approached the window, someone throws a soda in his face before the car drives off. The video was posted to multiple social media sites and caused outrage among residents.

CBS4Local was able to track down Robles, who is known as a very kind and talkative man who walks around the streets of Las Cruces. The pranksters labeled their video "prank on a hobo" but Robles isn't a hobo. He lives in a home on Duranzo Street.

Las Cruces residents shared screenshots and words of disgust towards the prank. Some of the people who helped Robles after the prank say this a new low for residents.

"I don't know why anyone would do that. Whether he's homeless, whether he's sick, whether he's disabled, he's a human, and you need to respect him as you would your mother," said Charles Miramontes, who was one of the people to help Robles during the incident.

The Las Cruces Police Department is looking into the incident and say Robles could possibly press charges against the pranksters.
