We know cops like to park just over hills and around corners and stuff to catch speeders, the rise on I-10 west after you pass UTEP for example, but this cop got really creative.

This shows how little attention we pay to things, and serves as a reminder of how dangerous "distracted driving" is. If people can miss something this obvious, imagine what you're missing if you're focused on your phone and not the road. A cop, posing as a homeless man, held a sign that read:

"I am not homless. I am a Montgomery County police officer looking for cell phone texting violations."

Nobody paid any attention to his sign and the cops wound up writing 56 citations and nine warnings to people for texting and driving. First, don't text and drive guys, and second, pay attention to what's going on around you!
