A wonderful group called the Bee Movement is hosting a free public pillow fight downtown in April! Find out details here.

The Bee Movement has been around since 2013 but I only heard about them after I started seeing all this awesome little inspirational signs around town. The Bee Movement is an organization that helps inspire people and "pollinate" happiness in El Paso.

One of those ways is through events like their Public Pillow Fight happening on April 2nd. The event starts at 3 p.m. and will allow anyone who wishes to come downtown and participate in El Paso's first ever public pillow fight. The event is BYOP- Bring Your Own Pillow and they also advise you to arrive early!

Here are some of the rules the Bee Movement has to keep this event positive and fun!

Soft pillows only.
Feather-free pillows only, to lessen the clean up afterwards.
Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once.
Do NOT swing at people without pillows or cameras.
Remove glasses beforehand!
Wait until the signal to begin.
Be courteous and cautious, this is a free event appropriate for all ages.
Let loose, be present, and most importantly have fun!

The event will be held Downtown at the Plaza Theater Water Fountain. SO go home, grab your fluffiest pillow and closest friend and get ready for an afternoon of pillows!
