23-year-old James Lauria is still recovery after his e-cigarette exploded in his mouth. The accident left Lauria a fractured neck and finger, burned corneas, first-degree burns and a dime-sized hole in his mouth.

While on a break at work, Lauria's e-cigarette unexpectedly ignited and severely injured the college student. Not only did he have all the injures I mentioned before, he also had his front tooth forced up into his gum, damaged a few lower teeth and chipped his tooth.

Lauria's parents are heartbroken to see their son connected to tubes and unable to eat solid foods, but he still on his way to recovery. It's already been six weeks since the incident and pretty soon Lauria will have a prosthesis to close that hole and alleviate the newly-acquired lisp.
