City of El Paso Is Deciding on a Classic or Modern Trolley Design

El Paso will soon have a fancy trolley system in the downtown area. Don't try to fight it. All you can do now is try to voice your opinion on restoring the old trolley cars or updating to a modern look.

The trolley system is set to break ground in a few months. The layout of the route for the system will run from downtown El Paso to UTEP and back. $97 million in funding has been secured for the project, but now the city is faced with design options.

The city has the option of spending $1.6 million to refurbish the old trolleys or purchase new streetcars for 1.2 million. What would you do?
