Here is what my local Chick-fil-a did in honor of Veterans Day. That's why this company is so beloved in Georgia. Unbelievable.

A Georgia Chik-Fil-A decided to honor Veteran's Day with a new idea, and they have it set up all week.

A Marietta, Ga., Chik-Fil-A is making headlines for the way they have decided to honor those Missing In Action on the week of Veteran's Day.

Store manager Alex Korchan told WSBTV that the staff wanted to do something to honor veterans and set up a Missing In Action table at the restaurant. The table is to honor of those who serve and those who lost their lives.

The display was setup back on Saturday and it will stay up for the entire week.

Staff also put a letter on the table, explaining that the table is reserved to honor "our missing comrades in arms."

"The tablecloth is white - symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call of duty. The single red rose, displayed in a vase, reminds us of the life of each of the missing and their loved ones and friends of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers.

"The vase is tied with a red ribbon, symbol of our continued determination to account for our missing. A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears endured by those missing and their families who seek answers.

"The Bible represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from our country, founded as one nation under God.

"The glass is inverted - to symbolize their inability to share this evening's toast. The chair is empty - they are missing."

Chik-Fil-A's are also offering free meals to veterans and their families from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this evening.
