Chihuahuas Begin Playoffs Wednesday Night

The Chihuahuas are in the playoffs, with the first game taking place in Fresno Wednesday night, and all the action on ESPN 600 on your AM radio dial or by listening live online at KROD.com

The Chihuahuas, in only their second year in existence, came back from 9 1/2 games out of first place back in August to clinch their division title this past weekend. The series kicking off on Wednesday is a best-of-five series, with the second game also to be held in Fresno.

On Friday, the Chihuahuas return to Southwest University Ballpark and GM Brad Taylor was in the Morning Show studio today to tell us there are still seats available, although he expects them to sell out by the end of the day. Some standing-room-only tickets will be available, but if you want a place to plop your butt down while you watch you'd better get those tickets today. Tickets can be purchased online. 

Taylor also said fans can purchase the new playoff T-shirts at Friday's game.

If the series goes the full five games, the final three games will be played in El Paso on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
