Tonight at Tricky Falls, I get to indulge my love of metal music....and men in make-up. Or something like that.

Tonight at Tricky Falls Metalachi will be playing a show that you all should go and check out. I had heard of this band from my buddies in the Butcher Babies and the bassist adores them. It must be the Mexican side in him.

The entire band is absolutely hysterical, from their inappropriate jokes and sexual innuendos, to the out of this world costume the entire band adorn themselves with onstage. I am so excited to see them FINALLY in concert and bond with my Mexican side. As one of the employees of the station just walked by and said, "this band makes me want to start drinking again! In a good way." Also, being from Juarez the band has local ties to the community which means we should all go out there tonight with our sombrero on, ready to get down with some tequila and good rock!

The way that they portrayed themselves in the studio on air and off, I truly believe they are one of those bands you will see in concert and remember for a very long time. Luckily, they did say they would try and play another show here soon but don't risk it- check them out tonight.

Tickets are a measly $11 and you can get them here. If you want to check out more of Metalachi see their Facebook page here. Concert is at Tricky Falls with the doors opening at 8 PM, concert starts at 9 PM. I'll see you at the show!
