Did your team make it to the division playoffs? Well, there is always next year!
Uruguay's Gonzalo Bueno should have scored a clinching goal against Peru last week in a game between the nations' Under-20 teams. Bueno DIDN'T score, because Peruvian goalkeeper Angelo Campos may be the fastest man in South America.
Wonder if she'll wear the sash? Either way, Katherine Webb may end up paying ESPN's Brent Musburger royalties for all the work she's getting! Sports Illustrated announced today that the reigning Miss Alabama -- and subject of Musburger's drool-fest during the BCS Championship Monday -- will be posing in their annual swimsuit issue, due out soon.
Check out this funny video in which a muay tai instructor fails to break a stick with a kick while he is teaching a class.
For some people, athleticism looks boring. Take Dan Sullivan for example, a 6'2, 235 pound linebacker from Monmouth University in New Jersey. He makes this 65" box jump look like he was skipping over a puddle and onto a curb as to not ruin his brand new kicks.

Is there any team in America that took a bigger nosedive than USC? From pre-season Number 1 to a 7-6 finish after getting bounced by Georgia Tech, 21-7, in the Hyundai Sun Bowl, the Trojans looked like they were sleepwalking. It sure didn't help that the team didn't seem very happy to be in El Paso. Either way, head coach Lane Kiffin had this message for the city of El Paso and USC fans.
At least there's one USC that finished its season on a high note -- the University of South Carolina, comeback winners over the Michigan Wolverines, 33-28. And the guy who started that move? If you can disagree, show me a link to one that's better.
The Cowboys' season is officially over, but that hasn't stopped owner Jerry Jones. He wants college football's new national championship game to be played at Cowboys Stadium. We head to Jerry's press conference to find out why...

It was a first, that’s for sure. After having to wait over 40 minutes for Utah at last year’s Sheriff’s Posse Dinner, Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson wasn’t about to accept another Pac-12 diss to start his second straight Hyundai Sun Bowl experience. So, after waiting 40 minutes for USC to show up for the annual kickoff feed and talent show, he put officials on notice — 10 more minutes and the Yellowjackets would say, “Adios!”
The 10 minutes came and went. And so did Georgia Tech.
