It's no secret that I'm a Judas Priest fan. If this is a surprise for you, you haven't been paying attention, but that's okay, I haven't been, either, I've been listening to Priest and throwing devil-horns all day. It's a cool year, as it's the 30th anniversary of their monster album "Screaming for Vengeance", which came out, of course, in 1982.
Just the other day, I'd read something interesting about the London O2 Zeppelin reunion show possibly being released this November. I thought, "That's pretty cool!" and let you guys know. At that point it was still a rumor, and now it's a pretty-much-confirmed rumor. November 22nd is the projected release date, with possibly some movie theater showings, too!
The Led Zeppelin reunion show at London's O2 in 2007 was a huge event, and everyone was trying to get tickets to this concert. The only bits people have seen are the fan-filmed shots, that sound iffy sometimes, and never look great. The whole show was filmed and recorded, but the band said that maybe something would happen with it "sometime in the future".
Which is very cool 'cuz, so do I!
Tomorrow, the new Hellyeah CD "Band of Brothers" comes out, and the band is going to have alive chat with fans at 1:30 our time to talk about the new CD, touring and whatever! KLAQ has been giving away copies of the CD away with tickets to the July 27th show all day in preparation for the release tomorrow.
On Sunday, we aired a special hosted by Billy Corgan with the guys from Rush talking about their new album "Clockwork Angels". The CD came out last week, but this show gives a really cool special insight into the album, the songs, the band and everything you need to know about the story.
Stone Sour has been working on their latest for a while now, and Corey has been talking about it being a huge concept record, and not a singles-based album. He's just finished laying down the vocals for their fourth album, and they've announced more information about it!
Art of Dying got into the studio with Disturbed's Dan Donegan to record an acoustic version of their song "Sorry", and then asked their fans to change their profile pics to add the word "sorry" to it and they'd be included in the video for the song. It's cool when bands want their fans included in the things they do, like Pantera did for their rece

We've been hearing a lot about the new Stone Sour double-CD concept recording they've been working on, House of Bones and Gold, that should be out in October. What we really haven't heard is any of the music.
