There is a report this week that says that only 1 out of 3 Americans can name a single Supreme Court Justice! Can you believe that?!? I mean, come on, people. The Supreme Court is the closest thing we have to the Jedi Council. Only without the mind reading. Or the light saber skills. Or the heterosexual female members.
We only have two more weeks of free concerts at the State Line. Tonight, El Pasoans Dusty Low perform. I get up on stage at 8pm and start the show with brief announcements and maybe a contest or two and then the band gets started.
As I say, this is the second to last week, so I hope a lot of you can turn out and (I need to remember this myself) your second to last chance to bring out some canned foods to donate to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger.

For one night only (tonight) the 1966 movie "Manos: The Hands of Fate" is showing at Cielo Vista Cinema and Tinseltown on Remcon.

US gymnast McKayla Maroney was NOT impressed with earning the silver medal in Sunday's Olympics vault competition, as is evidenced by her face at the medal ceremony, which quickly became an Internet meme. Earning silver isn't the only thing McKayla is unimpressed with. McKayla is apparently also NOT impressed with El Paso or the KLAQ Morning Show.
