Carlsbad Caverns Makes List of Must-See Sites in America [VIDEO]

A list of destinations across America named the best places for low budget travel.

An article at MSN.com has listed the best destinations in America to visit for the least amount of money. Carslbad Caverns, just a couple of hours from El Paso, was New Mexico's entry. With hundreds of known caves, Carlsbad Caverns is an underground wonderland that is easy on your wallet. $10 gets you into the park. Ranger-led tours are also very inexpensive.

Texas' biggest bargain is in San Antonio, The Alamo. It's a bit farther away from El Paso but still very cool and this one is free. You can catch an audio tour of the historic mission-turned-battle site for $7 if you want but, there are signs explaining stuff all over the place so most people just read.
