It's been a minute but, tonight they're back!

Ulysses, in one form or another, have rocked El Paso since 1986 but, the original lineup hasn't played together since 1990. Tonight, that changes as Ulysses Guzman, Ben LaRock Montes, Ruben Reyes and Hanson Richards rock again at HandleBars on  Lee Trevino.

Ulysses told the El Paso Times that the reunion really came together after their sound man, William Beautenmiller, lost his battle with cancer.

"I was thinking about doing this for a long time; the rest of the guys had no clue." "William and I were always on Facebook fighting each other about the Cowboys, he was big Cowboys fan. A little more than a year ago, he found out that he had cancer, a really aggressive form of cancer in his organs. As much as we wanted to see each (other) one last time, we never got the chance."   "I wanted to do this because I don't want to regret the day that something like that happens to us and we don't get a chance to jam together one last time."

They hit the stage tonight at 11:00pm!
