By The Way, The World Will End Today

A "polar flip" happens today, jacking up the planet, causing earthquakes and stuff and, basically, killing us all. The media hasn't really made much of a fuss about it but, I thought you should know.

This really is going to happen but, apparently it's not a big deal. An elpasoproud.com article says "the Earth's magnetic field is reversing itself." Sounds scary but, they say, it's been happening at certain intervals since the Earth was formed and isn't anything to worry about. NASA said:

"Many doomsday theorists have tried to take this natural geological occurence and suggest it could lead to Earth's destruction." "But would there be any dramatic effects? The answer, from the geologic and fossil records we have from hundreds of past magnetic polarity reversals, seems to be 'no.'"

So...just another weekend or, the end of it all? We'll have to wait and see I guess but, in the meantime, I'll go ahead and program Q Connected.
