"Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston is giving his support to a fellow "Breaking Bad" star who is running for office in New Mexico.

Tony Award-winning actor and star of AMC's hit show "Breaking Bad" Bryan Cranston is teaming up with comedian George Lopez to campaign for a friend and fellow "Breaking Bad" actor. Lopez and Cranston are trying to help get votes for Steven Michael Quezada, who is running for county commissioner in Bernalillo County. Quezada played a DEA agent in the show.

In a mailer sent out to Bernalillo voters, Cranston's photo is included as well as a quote that explains why he is backing Quezada:

"Steven was great in "Breaking Bad," but he thrives as a community leader. He will fight for more education funding, fight to keep this community safe, and fight to bring much needed jobs to the community."

Carlos Lopez lent his voice to automated calls made to voters in support of Quezada. Quezada has lived his entire life in Albuquerque and sits on the Albuquerque board of education. Quezada says that he wants to help fight poverty in the city and state.
