Bring Your Pooch to the Northeast This Weekend for Dog Swim Day

One of my favorite events is coming up this weekend! The Dog Swim Day in the Northeast.

The El Paso Parks and Recreation Department are once again having their annual Dog Swim Day this Saturday and Sunday at the Nations Tobin Aquatic Center in the Northeast. The Nations Tobin Aquatic Center is located at 8831 Railroad Dr.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the cost of admission only $2! Just make sure you bring a copy of your dog's shot record. Dogs must be current for their rabies, distemper and parvo vaccinations. You MUST bring your paper records to show proof, collar tags will not be enough.

This event is always fun for dogs and owners alike! There is a large pool that dogs can jump into and even a splash pool for smaller doggies. The Animal Rescue League of El Paso will also be on hand with their dogs available for adoption! There will be fun contests for your dog to participate in including Prettiest Dog Swimwear and Longest Doggie Leap.
