Food trucks are "the" thing these days and some Bowie High School students are jumping on the bandwagon by building one of their own!

Bowie High Scool students, who are part of Bowie's International Business Academy, are converting an old school bus into a food truck. According to an article in the El Paso Times;

The students developed a business plan and sales pitch for donors, including a schematic rendering of the truck and a proposed menu — with tacos, quesadillas and stews. They plan to use produce from the Bowie garden and to promote healthy eating habits.

They need $30K to complete the "Oso Good Food Truck" and, so far, have raised about $3K.  If you would like to know more about the project or ... even better! ... if you'd like to make a donation, please call (915) 230 - 7000.
