Blue Oyster Cult Plays Streetfest and the Crowd Brings MORE COWBELL! [VIDEO]

Streetfest 2012 was kick-butt, with tons of bands, beer, cars, and when Blue Oyster Cult played Saturday night (LIVE!) - a whole lotta cowbell!

One of the best parts of the event for me was when Buzz Adams got yelled at for playing the cowbell backstage too close to where the band was (Read his full story about it here).

Apparently, they no longer think the "More Cowbell" Saturday Night Live sketch featuring Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell, which heightened the popularity of Don't Fear the Reaper, is funny anymore and are less than amused by the bombardment of cowbells everywhere they go.

So, what did we do? Lisa Sanchez and I decided Streetfest needed more cowbell and we were the ones who would bring it. We got you guys in on the action, and made this cowbell mashup for you, featuring Buzz, Ray Monroe, ourselves, and Fernie, who was somewhat confused by the workings of a cowbell.
