I've been thinking about getting a camera to use when I'm on long bike trips .......

I've seen a few guys around El Paso with helmat cams but I hadn't really looked into what types and sizes are available.  If you're thinking of getting one also, here's one that I found.  It's amazing how steady it is, even when mounted to bars and or (I'm assuming...) crash bars.

I'd love to be able to share the experience of rollin' over Trans Mountain or taking 28 through the pecan orchards with friends and family who live far away.  (Not to mention the next bikini bike wash!!)  I'm just not sure what to buy.  This one looks pretty good: (about 2 minutes in is where you see what it can do!)

What do you think??  I'm sure there are other types out there.  (These guys even make a gun cam!?!?  If nothing else, this shows that the mounts these guy use are good!)

Anyone got any tips for me on bike cams??

If you have one, let me know what it is and how it works!!

Also, let me know if you have any tips on using them.  Mounting points for better shots, less wear and tear, etc .......  Help a brutha out!!  :)

If I get a lot of really good ideas; I'll do another post and share then with everyone!!
