Back In My Day: Rock Stars Then and Now

Time flies when you're having fun. At least these guys have proved it!

Remember when MTV was good and ran music videos instead of teenage girls getting pregnant? Well, the other day I ran across a VHS tape my brother had full of music videos from Pearl Jam, Guns n' Roses to Nine Inch Nails and Alanis Morissette. I couldn't stop watching (mainly because I used to watch those videos all the time) but mostly to notice how time has passed and how some have changed and others, well goodness they haven't aged a bit!

So I thought I'd throw you guys a couple flashbacks.

Let's start with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. I think he looks the same, but older ... a lot older with the same style. But age has definitely not stopped the singer as he still kills it!

I was not much of a NIN fan back in the day (I know, I know) but I have grown to like them and even have a few favorite tracks. Trent Reznor still rockin' just looks as if he's gained a bit of weight. (By the way, this is the first song I even heard from NIN)

What can I say about Axl Rose that you guys don't already know of haven't experienced. I remember the 'look' he had. That whole bandana, tight shorts and rocker look he had ... pretty hot. I'm sure most of you will agree... But what happened?!

Rob Zombie is not only a talented musician, but also a very respected Director. (The Devils Rejects being one of my favs!) His style is still amazing and comfortable as he looks the same but cooler and hotter!

Okay, so we all saw the Super Bowl earlier this year and I am pretty sure you guys had the same reaction as I did about Red Hot Chilli Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis. He looks amazing! Props to him ... although, I kinda would shave that mustache though, he's starting to look a bit like Iggy Pop.

And last but definitely not least from Jane's Addiction the handsome Dave Navarro. Not only is he doing a lot of television work on tattoo shows and Sons of Anarchy, but the man does not age! He still looks as gorgeous as he did back in the day when he did Warped with RHCP!

Time definitely has been very generous to some and to others not so much.
